De conservatoriumopleiding Docent Muziek, Schoolmuziek, waarvoor Hans Trip in juli 2006 is afgestudeerd leidt op tot:
Bachelor of Music in Education (BMus Ed)
Met dit diploma ben je bevoegd om les te geven en activiteiten te ontplooien in Nederland en landen van de Europese Gemeenschap op alle onderwijsniveaus:
1e graads onderwijsbevoegdheid (+ 2e en 3e graad) . Werkterreinen: Les geven in het primair onderwijs, het voortgezet onderwijs, AMV, Docent Kunst en Cultuur Algemeen (CKV), muziekschool, MBO, HBO en ook als hoofdvakdocent op een conservatorium. Werken als leider van instrumentale ensembles en als koordirigent. Overige werkterreinen zijn: werken als muziekconsulent, werken in het sociaal-cultureel werk (community music), werken in het cultureel management, of als muziekjournalist.
The Principal Study
Bachelor of Music in Education (BMus Ed).
The Bachelor of Music in Education degree programme consists of four subject fields:
>pedagogical subjects, e.g. methodology/didactics, pedagogy/psychology and the internship
>music-theory subjects that provide students with aural skills training
>performance-based subjects, e.g. voice, piano, melodic instrument, guitar
>practicum, popular music practicum, world-music ensembles, choral conducting, ensemble-conducting and band instruction
>ICT; Music, Playing and Movement; educational music productions; and electives
World Music
During their studies, students are exposed to a variety of musical styles in all their subjects – popular music, jazz, classical music and world music. Given the multicultural character of education currently given in the Netherlands, world music is a substantial component of nearly all subjects. Workshops and ensembles focusing on music from Latin America, Africa and Asia are offered.
Career Perspectives
First and foremost, students are trained to teach music in primary and secondary education, senior secondary vocational education (mbo) and higher professional education (hbo). Many of them will also go on to work as choirmasters, music consultants, general music instructors at music schools, conductors of instrumental ensembles, or to do social worm, or work in arts management or as music journalists.
Hans Trip (J. Trip) is afgestudeerd aan het conservatorium in Enschede. Hans Trip werkt beroepsmatig als koordirigent, pianist, muziekdocent en hij is dirigent bij diverse koren (gemengde koren, een vrouwenkoor, kinderkoren). O.a. is Hans dirigent van Vocal Flair, dirigent van Koor Kantiek en dirigent/pianist van enkele projectkoren, een gemengd koor en een mannenkoor. Hans is pianist / organist bij het Apostolisch Genootschap Apgen.

Hans Trip works professionally as a choral conductor, pianist, music teacher and he is conductor of various choirs (mixed choirs, a women’s choir, children’s choirs). Hans works as conductor of Vocal Flair, conductor of Koor Kantiek and conductor/pianist of several project choirs, a mixed choir and a male choir. Hans is a pianist/organist at the Apostolic Society.

Hans ist Dirigent von Vocal Flair, Dirigent von Koor Kantiek und Dirigent/Pianist mehrerer Projektchöre, eines gemischten Chores und eines Männerchors. Hans ist Pianist/Organist am Apostolischen Genootschap.
